Agile Logic was founded by Larry Thomas, who has more than 20 years of experience in laboratory IT. Larry began his career at Sunquest, now Clinisys, supporting the Sunquest Laboratory and CoPath systems, before moving into contracting.

Since then, he’s done it all: system support and administration, project management, data analytics and reporting, and automation and customization. He’s trained in Data Innovations instrument management, holds the Epic Beaker CP certification, and is currently pursuing Beaker AP. He also holds degrees in software engineering and information systems security.

After years of working with staffing agencies and managed service providers, Larry kept seeing the same problems. Recruiters often didn’t understand the technical needs of the role, so the contractors submitted were not always the best fit and once placed, were mostly on their own.

Larry started Agile Logic to do it differently. We don’t just want to build an agency, we want to build a community. Because we speak the language of laboratory IT, we help clients define what they skills they need before we recruit. And no Agile Logic contractor is an island. Our contractors get support in balancing work and home life as remote professionals, plus a trusted network of peers they can turn to for answers and advice. When contractors are supported, clients get better results.
